Born on 17th April, 1972, Jennifer Anne Garner is a renowned American actress. She was born in Houston, Teas but shifted to West Virginia when she was three years of age. Her parents were William Garner and Patricia Ann. She has two sisters named Melissa Wylie and Susannah Carpenter. Jennifer has always been a middle class child who had to work hard to get acknowledged just like her elder sister. Jennifer’s parents were quite conservative and did not allow their daughters to wear makeup or dye their hair.

Jennifer studied at George Washington High School, based in Charleston. She used to be a water girl for the school football team and she also excelled at playing saxophone in the marching band. Garner wished to perform in school plays ever since she was a child. She participated in the local community theater and took singing, piano and ballet lessons. Garner attended the Denison University in 1990 where she graduated with a degree in theater. She even spent her fall semester in 1993 studying theater at National Theater Institute in Waterford, Connecticut.

Jennifer Garner’s relationship lasted for half a decade with Scott Foley. The two met on the sets of ‘Felicity’ in the year 1998 and married in 2000 before separating in 2003. Career

Jennifer Garner gained media’s attention for her recurring role on the super-hit television show ‘Felicity’. The producer of ‘Felicity’ was so impressed by Garner that he chose her as the lead actress in ‘Alias’. It was Sydney Bristow who gave Garner her big break and turned her career into an overnight success. Garner earned a lot of followers after these two shows. After ‘Alias’, Garner was cast in several films including ‘Catch Me If You Can’, ‘Daredevil’ and ’13 Going on 30’. She co-starred with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Affleck in these films respectively. She also starred in the spin-off for ‘Daredevil’ which was named ‘Elektra’.

Jennifer starred in a hit action movie ‘The Kingdom’ in 2007. This movie was about the conflicts of U.S. with the oil industry in Saudi. That year itself, Garner co-starred with the likes of Michael Cera, Ellen Paige and Jason Bateman in the highly acclaimed comedy movie ‘Juno’. Two years later, Jennifer starred opposite Matthew McConaughey in the romantic cum comedy film ‘The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ and with Russell Brand in ‘Arthur’. She portrayed Dr. Eve Saks in the biopic ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ which got nominated for the Oscars.
