Jason Kennedy

Jason Kennedy is a renowned television host of the E! network. He covers celebrity news all over America. He is widely known for covering the death of celebrated actress and model actress Anna Nicole Smith.


PERSONAL LIFE:

Jason was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the year 1981. Since his childhood, he had always been keen on news reporting, hosting and anchoring. As a child, he used to often chase news trucks and end up in areas where there is a breaking news scene happening. When Jason was in fifth grade, he set up his own newsroom studio at the basement, which was fully functional and used to broadcast local happenings. The newsroom studio had four cameras, 20 televisions, and a news desk complete with an editing station.

Jason graduated high school from the Westminster Academy. Post that, the anchor attended the University of Miami for his graduation where he won multiple awards for his work in broadcasting, including the most prestigious Associated Press Award for Best News Feature in Florida.

After his graduation Jason moved to Los Angeles and began his career as a full time TV host. The famous host is married to Lauren Scruggs after one year of dating. Lauren is an American fashion journalist and blogger.

She received international attention when she lost her left eye and left arm when accidentally walking into an aircraft propeller. She miraculously escaped and recuperated from the terrible accident. The couple was introduced by Giuliana Rancic who was also a host in E! Scruggs and Jason first went on a hiking trip together and subsequently started seeing each other more often. They had a very romantic engagement followed by a wedding in 2014.

Jason is very active on social media. He has over 229 k followers on Twitter, 119k followers on Facebook and 467k followers on Instagram. Jason is a devout Christian and has established an extensive Bible Study through which he offers a chance for celebrities who wish to undergo rehabilitation. A lot of young celebrities are known to frequent his study

CAREER:

After his graduation from the University of Miami, Jason moved to Los Angeles where he first joined the TV guide channel where he hosted Open Call segments. Following this, he joined the E! network where he works as a weekend host for E!news. He also used to host the “Last Bride Standing” and the Daily 10 shows. His fame catapulted when he was praised for extensively covering the death of actress and model Anna Nicole Smith in 2007, near South Florida.

From 2008, he has been hosting Dance Machine on ABC. This is his first primetime show. People magazine has named him as one of the Hottest Bachelors in 2008. LA times named him as a rising star in the broadcasting industry in their article titled article "Clark Trek: Who Will Become The Next Dick Clark?" His much acclaimed talent led him to cover former President Bill Clinton’s visit to Miami amongst many such popular crowd pulling events.
