She started her journalism work, when she was in college. She was a intern for NBC Sports in the year 2006. Jackie was also a correspondent student for MSNBC News for two year 2006-07.

After completion of course in the year 2007, she started to work for WWLP-TV. She became professional journalist. Her work there was much appreciated and loved by the viewers. Within months, she got promoted as reporter from producer. After getting promoted, she was working as anchor, after 4 months. She left WWLP-TV in the year 2010.

Jackie started to work for Coltrin & Associates; it is firm for public relations. Her position was as a managing director. She made her comeback in TV world and started to work for News 12 Connecticut, in the year 2012. She was working as an anchor and appeared in three shows for the channel. Jackie left the channel on 12th December 2014. Later on, she joint Fox News Channel and is still for working there. She joined as a correspondent in 2014. At present, she is a anchor in overnight breaking news broadcast for Fox News. She also appears in   Fox and Friends First.
