Jackie completed her graduation from Sky View High School in the year 2003. She was interested in journalism from her college days, which led her to study broadcast journalism. She completed her B.A in Broadcast Journalism from Quinnipiac University, Connecticut in the year 2007.

When she was in college, she was an intern at NBC sports. Jackie is a married woman, but name of her husband is not disclosed. She is also mother of two children. She made her comeback in TV world and started to work for News 12 Connecticut, in the year 2012. She was working as an anchor and appeared in three shows for the channel. Jackie left the channel on 12th December 2014. Later on, she joint Fox News Channel and is still for working there. She joined as a correspondent in 2014. At present, she is a anchor in overnight breaking news broadcast for Fox News. She also appears in   Fox and Friends First.
