Hal Lindsey was born on 23rd November, in the year 1929. He is one of the most well-known religious based writers of America. His full name is Harold Lee “Hal” Lindsey. He is also called a Christian Zionist who believes in return of the Jews. He also believes that birth of the State of Israel happened according to biblical prophecy. Needless to say that he is a very intriguing writer and person. He is 86 years old and still writing and researching like a true author.

Background
From the very beginning of his career, he was a very erudite person. When he was young, he started searching about religion and he became very curious about all these. To quench his curiosity about religion, he started reading. He got his graduation from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has gotten his Masters Degree on Theology. His Major was New Testament and early Greek Literature. By this time, he was already married twice and living with his second wife.
Career
He was doing humanitarian works in Southern California until the year 1976. But before that he already published his first book out of many to come which was ‘The Late, Great Planet Earth’. It was an instant bestseller and the time couldn’t be more perfect because of the ‘Six Day War’ issue. It was in the year 1994 when he got his long desired Doctorate of Theology Degree. He achieved this degree from the California Graduate School of Theology.
He also appeared in television show called ‘International Intelligence Briefing’ but this not on air for long. Hal later said that the show might have been considered too much pro-Israeli. There were negativity about Arabs in the show and Hal disappointed for cancelling the show. Eventually he left the TV channel called TBN in the year 2006.
After that, he started his own TV show. The name of that show was ‘The Hal Lindsey Report’. This program was based on biblical prophecy and present world scenario. It was a very interesting program and people were very much talking about it. He was in a controversy with the President of the United States of America when he wrote an essay and criticized Barak Obama. He wrote many books after his first one. His notable books are: Satan is Alive and Well on Planet Earth, There’s a new world coming, The Final battle, Planet Earth: The Final Chapter, Rapture, Blood Moon, and The Everlasting Hatred: The Roots of Jihad.
Personal
Though he is old now, he used to be a major womanizer. In his long life, he had married four times. He is living with his present days with his fourth wife. He has a tendency to dedicate his books to his wives. Apart from the name of his wives, there is not too much is revealed to public knowledge. His net worth is a surreal amount of 42 million dollars. Yet, we don’t know the alimony amount to his earlier marriages. He is a man of letters and full of wisdoms.
