Grace Potter was born in the year 1983 and she is American actress, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. She was performing in the Grace Potter and Nocturnals in the year 2002. Potter started her debut with a solo record in the Original Soul of 2004 and it was through Grace Potter Music.


In the year 2011, Potter together with Higher Ground became the founders of Grand Point North Music Festival and it was taking place in the Burlington of Vermont. Music Festival was meant to celebrate local acts, to promote the business in the area and to attract performing artists like Gov’t Mule, Trampled by Turtles, The Flaming Lips and The Avett Brothers.

Throughout her career, she had championed for Alzheimer’s Association as an honor to her grandfather who suffered from the disease. She participates regularly in the Los Angeles, CA annual fundraiser known as Night At Sardi’s.

According to her biography, Grace Potter got more attention with Grace Potter and The Nocturnals’ formation. As actress, Grace Potter was in One Tree Hill and it is where she performed her own song Apologies. She wrote also recorded the song Something That I Want which was the end credit of Tangled, a Disney animated feature. The year that followed, she became the voice behind Carol character in Prep & Landing: Naughty Vs Nice. For the movie, she wrote and also recorded the song Naughty, Naughty Children, (Better Start Actin’ Nice).

She made the guest appearance at The Chew of ABC in 2012 and in the year 2015. She performed for The Star-Spangled Banner in Super Bowl Champion for the season opener of New England Patriots. Conan O’Brien aired a special episode, which chronicled a trip that he made to the Ul Udeid Air base built in Qatar. That time, Grace Potter and First Lady Michelle Obama joined him like his musical guests.

Grace Potter has collaborated for many years with Kenny Chesney, a country music. Their duets reached to the top of the country music charts while receiving critical acclaim. They were nominated for a Grammy award as being the Best Country Duo or Group Performance because of You and Tequila song. The two performed together many times.

Grace Potter attended Harwood Union High School in the city of South Duxbury in Vermont and then St Lawrence University. She grew up in the musical family, seeing her mother playing piano.

Grace Potter got married to Matthew Burr in 2013. The wedding to her husband took place at St Barthelemy Island. The wedding was attended by close family members and close friends only. Burr was born and raised in the city of Ho-Ho-Kus, in New Jersey. He was spending summer time in the Fishers Island with the family. They have no children yet. Her net worth is 8 million dollars. Matt Burr is a drummer and he was a member of a band with Grace Potter since 2003.
