Born on February 4, in the year 1977, Gavin Shane DeGraw was raised up in South Fallsburg by the parents! Lynee DeGraw and Wayne DeGraw was brought up in a duo ancestral family as his mother hailed from a Russian Jewish family and father from an Irish one. He had a knack for music from childhood and started learning music lessons on piano at a very early age. He was always encouraged by his family and siblings to carry on with music and choose it as a career.
When he stepped into his teenage, he played and performed music in several vocal groups with local musicians and also with his brother, Joey. Their band group became quite famous within a short time and later performed in several music clubs. After Gavin got into a regular career in music, his brother advised him to practise and learn song writing. Gavin started the practice of writing songs and soon succeeded in his performance in Ithaca College and gained a scholarship. After learning all that was possible to learn in music he shifted to the Boston city to get the admission at the music college.
Although he is not married, he has been dating his girlfriend Amanda Loncar since the past 11 years! Gavin achieved lot of fame, popularity and success in his career with his hard work and focus. He never shifted his focus from his work, which lead him into his present success. Career
A lot of people don’t know this, but, before starting his career officially as a singer, Gavin already achieved a lot of success and popularity by taking part in several local music shows. So when he came to Manhatta first, he got the chance to perform with Ron Grant and Friends. After the performance, Debbie Wilson praised his talents. Though Gavin was getting a lot of popularity, he never stopped revising his skills and refining them regularly. In 2002, he got the chance to perform the Chariot album. However, he reached the peak of his success in 2003. During this time, a famous drama team chose his song, I Don't Want to Be, as the theme song and also recorded Chariot in the July of 2003. This debut album got enough success to reach a million sale and even achieved a platinum certificate.
DeGraw relased his several albums in the consecutive years like the Free, Sweater, Best I Ever Had and Finest Hour which were all big hits. The album Something Worth Saving has released in 2016 recently which includes many popular singles like Making Love with the Radio On and She Sets the City on Fire.
