Frederick Dierks Bentley, popularly known as Dierks Bentley, came to life on November 20th 1975. He is a Native American and was born in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. He was born to his father Leon Fife Bentley, who is a banker by profession and to his mother Catherine Childs. Dierks’ father was also the part of army in World War II. Dierks is 5' 11" (1.8 m) tall and is known for his handsome and smart looks. He is particularly known for his work as a musician and a singer in US and abroad.

He did his High School from The Lawrenceville School and later on did his graduation first from ‘University of Vermont’ and then from ‘Vanderbilt University’. He completed his graduation in 1997 and immediately after that started to pursue his career with music industry. He had a passion for music since his birth and started playing some instruments at the very young age. Dierks is the husband to his present wife named Cassidy Black whom he married in 2005. The couple has a beautiful relation together and has got 2 children as well. Their first child was a son named ‘Evelyn Day Bentley’ who appeared in a video with Dierks as well. Their second child was a baby girl named ‘Jordan Catherine Bentley’ who was born in 2010. Bentley likes to spend time with his family at their home and is very fond of them.
According to his biography, Bentley started work in music post his graduation when he started working various music videos and albums. However he rose to fame with his debut album named ‘Dierks Bentley’ which was released in 2003 and the single songs from the album were instant hits and remained on No 1 position amongst the US chartbusters for many weeks. His second album ‘Modern Day Drifter’ including the songs like ‘Come a Little Closer’ and ‘Settle for a Slowdown’ was also a smashing hit and was much appreciated by the critics and the audiences in US and abroad. These albums placed Dierks in the list of top singers in the US. Later on Dierks produced 5 more albums apart from these like ‘Long Trip Alone’, ‘Feel That Fire’, ‘Up on the Ridge’, ‘Home’, ‘Riser’ featuring the popular songs like ‘Every Mile a Memory’, ‘Say You Do’, ‘Drunk on a Plane’ and ‘I Hold On’ and gained much popularity amongst the audiences. Bentley is also working in his upcoming album named ‘Black’ which is set to be released later this year in 2016. Apart from these albums Bentley has also performed at various events and promotional tours.
Dierks for his performances has been nominated and has won a series of awards and recognitions. He has been nominated for the prestigious Grammy Awards more than 10 times, however he is still to win his first Grammy Award. He has also won other awards like Horizon award in the year 2005, video of the year award at Country Music association awards for his song ‘Drunk on a Plane’. He has also been nominated for multiple other awards during his professional career.
