Connie Nielsen took birth in the village of Frederikshavn, which is located in Denmark on the date 3rd July, 1965 with the name Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen given to her. She was brought up in the vicinity of Elling by her parents, Laila and Bent Nielson.
Her father supported their family by working as a driver of buses while her mother did clerking alongside acting. She gained her inspiration to appear in the acting business from her mother with whom she used to perform in local plays and short documentaries. As she grew older, Connie left Denmark to gain further knowledge and experience in the field of acting and modeling in Paris.
After that she joined the classes of drama in Rome when she went to Italy to complete her schooling which further led her to do her masters in Milan alongside the professor named Lydia Styx at the theatre of Piccolo Teatro di Milano. Connie Nielsen had a knack for a career in acting from her days spent with her mother while performing in local plays and shows. She moved to Paris to pursue this dream and she started acting by starring in many French and Italian movies and TV series. After her course completion she shifted to America to work in Hollywood somewhere around 1995 and her first onscreen appearance took place in the film “The Devil’s Advocate” in the year of 1997.
