Personal Life:
Clint was born to G.A and Ann Black in New Jersey! The family consisted of 4 children, Clint black being the youngest one. Music was in the blood of Black’s house, he penned down his first song when he was just 14 years of age. At the age of 13, he himself learnt to play a harmonica and one year later, he learnt guitar. His dad exclaimed that he found out that his son was great at singing, when he was 13.
In his adolescent years, he played and sang with his elder brother, making a small band. The Black family had great enjoyment time on Saturday afternoons listening to the children singing and inviting all their neighbors. Love for music made him drop his studies and joined his elder brother for a music band.
He tried his luck in various different forms of music genres, in the beginning of his career as singer and guitarist on various different lounges. He helped himself financially by working as bait cutter and also worked at construction sites. In one of the shows, he met Hayden Nicholas with whom he created wonders of music that people will remember for decades. They both came together to create great music; their first joint venture demo was Nobody's Home which got them great fame. Soon after this release, Black got a proposal from ZZ Top’s manager; success was on its way to Black.
Black got married to Lisa Hartman on October 24, 1991. This couple is happily married stays in Nashville and is blessed with one child, Lily Pearl Black who was born in the year 2001.
Career:
The year 2000 was one of the best years professionally; their songs were on the hit list. He had 30 songs registeredon the chart of US Billboard country, out of these 30 singles twenty of his songs were on the number one position. Apart from his solo achievements, Black had also worked for studio albums, on counting 12 albums and many more joint venture albums. He also tried his luck into acting; he played a cameo role in the movie ‘Maverick’ and also a main cast in 1998 for movie ‘Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack’.
Black and Nicholas had a great time and efforts composing music, their first venture was Straight From the Factory which only tool 20 minutes for penning down the song. After his music career, Black entered into TV serials, he acted in TV series Las Vegas, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and also did reality shows Secret Talents of the Stars which was a CW series. Black never backed off when new tasks came up, he is always found challenging himself and always proving better than before.
