Claudia Jordan is an American actress and model. She is known for her television appearances such as those in The Price Is Right, Livin’ Large, and most notably, Deal or No Deal. Currently she appears on a few TV shows as a regular co-host. She has also appeared in music videos and participated in beauty pageants. Along with this, she is a popular online celebrity with 150,000 followers on Twitter, where she makes regular posts about her personal and professional life.

Early Life and Beginning of Career
Claudia Jordan is of mixed ethnicities. She was born of an Italian mother and an African-American father on April 12, 1973. Her birthplace is Providence in Rhode Island. Her father worked with the Air Force, who met her mother when he was stationed in Brindisi.
As a school student, Claudia Jordan was an active sportsperson. She made the cut to the All State Track and Field Team of Rhode Island. She participated in three Junior Olympics tournaments. Though she did not excel at the first position, she bagged the third prize in a long jump event.
She went on to attend college in Ohio State and majored in Broadcasting & Journalism. Even during her college days, she presented a show on her college radio station.
Her first taste of fame came when she won the Miss Rhode Island Teen USA in 1990. She could not win the Miss Teen USA title though. She participated again in 1997 and won as Miss Rhode Island USA but was eliminated in Miss USA after making it in the top 10. However, this made people notice her and she began appearing for shows on the Boston local TV stations.
Appearance on TV Shows
Claudia Jordan first became a public name in 2001 when she was a Barker’s Beauty in The Price Is Right. This gave her an opportunity to act in a few movies as well such as S1m0ne. During this time, she also acted in TV shows such as City Guys, Jack and Jill, and That’s So Raven. She had recurring appearances on Modern Girl’s Guide to Life and Diary of a Champion.
Apart from this she has appeared in music videos and commercials as well. She featured in the Backstreet Boys’ video As Long as You Love Me. She has acted in commercials as a model, the most notable of them being Pepsi, Sears, Denny’s, and Coor’s Light.
As a host, her talents were seen on American television at the show Miss Universe Pageant, a show that she co-hosted with Billy Bush.
Personal Life
Claudia Jordan married actor Datari Turner in 2009. However, he did not remain her husband for long as their marriage ended in a divorce by annulment a year later.
Recent Controversy
Until lately, Claudia Jordan was a co-host on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. However, after her dismissal from the show, she took to Twitter to speak about her the unprofessionalism on the show and particularly of Rickey Smiley. Lately though, she has thanked Rickey Smiley for giving her the chance and states that the opportunity was probably not a good fit for her.
