Cheryl Burton

Cheryl Burton was born on 25 December 1962 in Chicago, United States. She is 54 years old American News Anchor. At present she is linked with ABC-7 Chicago. Cheryl grew up in Chicago and her mother’s name is Lillian Burton. There had been a slight controversy about who her biological father as she was born after her mother married Neil Burton who was Lillian’s second husband. Cheryl never discussed about her parents in media.

Cheryl has strong academic background and she perused her graduation is Psychology and Biology from the University of Illinois at Champaign – Urbana. Psychology was her minor subject and Biology was the Major. Cheryl was also a cheerleader for Chicago Bears for three years beginning from 1983.

Later in 1986 Cheryl decided to marry Jim Rose. They were married to each other for 9 years before Cheryl divorced Jim in 1995. She left the job in 1990 to join another TV channel. In 1990 she joined WMBD-TV where she worked for 2 years before finally joining WLS-TV in 1992. Even today she is working with WLS – TV.
