Cameron Mathison took birth in the city of Sarnia belonging to the province of Ontario situated in Canada on the date 25th August, 1969 with the name Cameron Arthur Mathison given to him by his parents. He is a proud Canadian by birth and was brought up in the country along with his brother named Scott Mathison. He completed his schooling from the high school in Ontario named Thornlea Secondary School situated in Thornhill. He is a graduate with a degree of bachelor’s in the subject of civil engineering which he received in the year 1993 from the university in Montreal named McGrill University of Quebec.
Cameron had athletic inclinations from the time he was in high school and he was the captain of the basket ball team of his university. Cameron Mathison always wanted to pursue a career in acting and as soon as he finished his graduation he shifted his focus to acting by starting as a model and appearing in commercials. He took up acting lessons in Toronto and began paving his path to land bigger roles in movies or television shows.
He made his first appearance in the movie “54” followed by gaining attention after doing a Canadian movie named “Washed Up” which got him the role to play the character Ryan Lavery in the TV series “All My Children” in the year of 1997 and he continued that role till 2011.
