Britney Jean Spears was born on 2nd December, 1981 in Mississippi. She was raised in Louisiana by parents Lynne Bridges and James Spears. She has two siblings named Bryan James and Jamie Lynn. Britney developed a keen interest in dancing at a mere age of three when she started taking dance lessons while she was in Louisiana. She did exude special talent at that very age as she got selected to perform at the annual recital as a solo artist. Britney Spears married Jason Allen Alexander, her childhood friend, in Nevada on 3rd January, 2004. This marriage was invalidated within 55 hours. An year later, Britney married Sean Preston Spears Federline. She divorced him in November 2006.

She toured with the boy band NSYNC while her debut single topped the charts for three weeks.
Britney released her debut album in 1999 and just like her debut single, the album too was a super hit. It topped the album charts for six weeks. It sold millions of copies worldwide as Britney became more and more famous. Today, Britney is famously known for being the ‘Queen of pop’.
