Bill Hammer

William George Hammer was born on November 14, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents are William R. Hemmer and Georganne M. Knittle. He also has four siblings in a family. Her father is a a retired executive salesman for Serta Mattresses, while his mother was a high school teacher. He studied at the Catholic parochial school before he joined Elder High School in Cincinnati.


He dreamed about journalist career from his school years, where he even was an anchor for radio program, where he mostly served as a disc jockey. Afterwards, he enrolled in the Miami University, Ohio, where he got his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. During his College years he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and studied in Europe at the Miami University Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg City. At the same time he was a radio disc jockey for Mama Jazz at WMUB-FM as well as for WOXY-FM like in school times.

Bill started his professional TV career at the middle of 80s. He started his first steps on television as a sports producer for WLWT-TV. Later he joined CBS channel, where he served as a sports anchor. He got his breakthrough time, while he worked for CNN channel. During these ten years he served as a host for such TV programs like “CNN Tonight”, “American Morning ”, “CNN Early Edition” and “CNN Live Today”. Working at CNN he covered a lot of main good and bad events in United States, including the bombing of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta or the case of World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Additionally, he traveled through China, Vietnam, Nepal, India, Egypt, Israel and Eastern Europe, when he was 26 and helped at the children's clinics run by Mother Teresa. Afterwards he made several pieces known as "Bill's Excellent Adventure” for The Cincinnati Post and CBS. He also established the MUDEC scholarship in honor of the long-time service of Dr. Emile Haag to the Miami University Dolibois European Campus and the William G. Hemmer Scholarship awarded to a deserving Elder High School student who shares a big interest in journalism.

In the 2005 he also covered from Vatican City after the death of Pope John Paul II. In the same year, he joined Fox News. Currently, he serves as the anchor for “America's Newsroom”, which runs every day from 9-11 am on Fox News. He also covered the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina and many different political events in US.

It seems like he is a single now. Previously, he dated with a model, Dara Tomanovich, but after the eight years relationship the couple broke up in the 2013. There are many pictures of him available through some of the popular web sites including some social sites such as Instagram, Twitter and many other celebrity sites as well. He earns a good salary from his job, which is approximately 400 thousand dollars and it’s making rise to his net worth to $ 3 million.
