Allison Chinchar was born in Mansfield on April 9th in the year 1984. She was born in a high class family. Her father was a famous business man and was also a popular business merchant in the town. She was sent to a renowned school of the town. As a student, she was very brilliant and studious. She also took great interest in badminton and played badminton with her father on every weekend. She has also played several badminton tournaments in her town.
She was very passionate towards music and loved to play guitar and other instrumental music. She completed her graduation with the highest grade from the Ohio State University. After graduation, her father wanted her to join the family business but she had no such plans for her future career. She wanted to join the University to carry on with her further studies. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in the year 2008 with a major in Atmospheric Science and Meteorology.
She studied for four years in the university and along with that, she also did a research on certain weather factors and recent issues. She wanted to let the people know about the particular changes which was taking place in the environment. He wanted to raise a concern among the people regarding the certain factors of weather. Her research project on Meteorology paved her the path to join the Buckeye TV where she was given the task to host and prepare weather forecasting news.
She had done her job with such perfection that her seniors were already impressed with her. She had a keen passion of discovering interesting facts about the environment about her research work. This impressed her office colleagues and seniors a lot. After that, she joined the WTVC-TV News Channel 9 in the year 2008. There, she was offered the position of an anchor for hosting the daily weather forecast program.
In the year 2011, she joined the WKRN TV as a metrologist to carry on with his research work. When she completed her research work in the year 2015, she left the place to join the CNN channel. She holds the same position there. Besides this, she also serves as a weather reporter in the channel.
She is happily married to her husband Mike Bettes who is also an established meteorologist. The couple got married in the year 2012 after dating each other for quite a few years. In the year 2015, the couple was blessed with a baby boy and named him as Landen Benjamin Bettes. There is still no news about any kind of split or divorce between the couple. Though there were some rumours but none could sustain as they share a very strong bond.
