Sean Patrick Hannity was born on December 30, 1961 in New York City, New York to Lillian and Hugh Hannity. He is of Irish descent. Early his grandparents immigrated to America from Republic of Ireland. He was raised in Franklin Square, New York. He also has two sisters. Sean attended Sacred Heart Seminary in Hempstead, afterwards he studied at the St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary high school in Uniondale. After high school he enrolled to New York University, but he was dropped out as well as from Adelphi University.


He began his first radio show in the 1989. At that time he was the host at the volunteer college station at The University of California, Santa Barbara - KCSB-FM. He lost that job next year. Afterwards he was hired by WVNN radio station from Athens, Alabama, where Sean was an afternoon talk show host. In the 1992 Sean moved to Atlanta and joined to WGST. He got his breakthrough time when he was hired by Roger Ailes for hosting a television program “Hannity and LTBD” on Fox News Channel.

Later the show was retitled as “Hannity & Colmes” after Alan Colmes joined as co-host. In the 2008 his friend and co-host Colmes left the show, afterward in January of 2009 Sean left too for his own show. Obviously he left WGST for another vacancy on WABC in the New York City. At first Sean was just a substitute host until in the 1997 he becomes a full-time anchor at the late night time slot. He was the host of his own project “The Sean Hannity Show” which was translated by five hundred radio station nationwide. He signed a contract with ABC Radio for 25 million dollars for two times from 2004 to 2009 and from 2009 till 2014.

He worked as the host at the WABC from 1998 to 2013. After fifteen years on WABC he left the station for work on WOR, where he began his career way from January of the 2014. During the presidential election in the 2016 Sean was one of the promoters of Republican politician Donald Trump.

He is known for his public dissent from the Catholic Church on the issue of contraception and later he also stated that if he will be excommunicated from Catholic Church he would join Baptist Church. Hannity is also a writer he is the author of New York Times bestseller books. “Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism” and “Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism” becomes very popular.

His last book was released in the 2010 and was titled “Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda”. He is very popular at social network and he shares the news with his fans, and often receives messages on email. Sean was married to Jill Rhodes in the 1993. His wife is a journalist and former columnist. The couple has two children, one son Sean Patrick and one daughter Merri Kelly. His net worth is approximately $60 million dollars. Sean also has an annual salary of $5 million.
