A charming actress Sharon Case was born on February 9, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan. From her early years, her parents put her to different classes, including dance classes and jazz classes. In 1974, her parents moved to Chatsworth, California and since that time, Sharon settled down there.

Being a teenager she realized, that she was unbelievably beautiful and she strongly decided to become a model or an actress. She attended modeling events, classes, and finally, when she was just 17 years old, she was noticed by modeling agent and she received an invitation to the casting. After that, she signed a contract and went to Japan to work as a model. She has worked in Japan for five months and returned to Los Angeles.
After returning to US, she spent some time working at the theatre and soon after she received her first role in the soap opera General Hospital, where she played Dawn Winthrop. Sharon has worked there for two years and left the series.

In 1992, she got more interesting role of Debbie Simon in a TV soap opera As the World Turns. The series aired on ABC from April 2, 1956 (1956-04-02) to September 17, 2010, however, Sharon left the series in 1993 to get her the most successful role of her life.
She had to play Sharon Newman in a CBC TV soap opera The Young and the Restless. That was her breakthrough. Sharon Case joined the series in 1994 and has played the same character until now. This role made her very famous. After two years of work in this series, she was already nominated on Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. Next year in 1997, she was nominated on Daytime Emmy Award again and on Soap Opera Digest Award for Hottest Romance. Her first award she won in 1998 (Soap Opera Digest Award) and the next year she eventually won the Daytime Emmy Award. After that, she won one more award (TV Soap Golden Boomerang Award in 2003) and was nominated on different awards four more times.
The Young and the Restless made her a real star of soap operas, and she was offered another regular role of Anne Welles in a series Valley of the Dolls. Sharon also played in several films: Breast Men (1997), Wentworth (2005), Repressions (2007) and others.
