Noah Cyrus is an upcoming American musician who recently shot to fame with “We are what” an iconoclastic anthem that went viral on social media. Noah has a stellar family background. Her father is Billy Ray Cyrus, America’s most famous country singer. Her sister is the Hannah Montana fame pop sensation Miley Cyrus. Noah already has several hit singles to her credit. She has taken the music world by storm with by exploring impactful themes complimented with a unique voice. Her siblings are Miley Cyrus and Trace Cyrus.
Noah was born as Noah Lindsey Cyrus on January 8th, 2000 in Nashville. She is the last child of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus. Noah has two siblings, Trace and Miley. For most part of her childhood, Noah was raised in a farm which led her to develop a special bond with farm animals. A passionate equestrian, she has helped to raise funding to ban horse-driven carriages. Noah began appearing on TV from the age of 2.
She debuted in the TV show Doc and played recurring small roles for six seasons of Hannah Montana. Post this, she ventured into singing. Her first album was written inspired from her own heart wrenching breakup story. During her free time, Noah loves to ride horses and has won several awards in the same. The young artist is also a member of the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). She posed for one of their advertisements expressing her condemnation over animals being used for experimentation purposes in schools. Noah is a practicing Christian.
Noah’s first tryst with showbiz came when she starred as Gracie Herbert on the medical drama TV show Doc. She also appeared many times in the acclaimed TV series Hannah Montana which had Miley, her sister playing the lead. Hannah Montana was one of the breakthrough roles which gained Miley widespread recognition. Noah also appeared as one of the background dancers in the 2009 film adaptation of the same series.
The talented singer also ran a web series titled The Noie and Ems Show with Hannah Montana fame Emily Grace Reaves. Besides this, she also appeared in the movie Mostly Ghostly as a Halloween Trick or treating kid and rendered her voice for the titular character in the English adaptation of anime film Pony. It was during this time, she explored her talent as a singer.
Noah sang the title song for the film along with Frankie Jonas, the last sibling of the famous Jonas Brothers. This earned her notice among the music industry fraternity. By 2016, the budding singer had clinched a deal with RECORDS founded by Barry Weiss. Noah’s first single was Make me Cry which also featured a feat by rapper Labrinth. She also did the opening for Katy Perry during her Witness tour in 2017.
