Marie Mireille Enos was born on September 22, 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri. Her parents were Monique and Jon Goree Enos. Her mother was a French teacher and actually a native of France. Mireille is from French and Scottish ancestry. She also has siblings, Veronique Enos, Jongiorgi Enos. She spent the first five years of her life in Kansas city and then her family moved to Houston, Texas. She attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and after graduation she enrolled in Brigham Young University. At the College she studied theater and in the 1997 graduated with a B. A. Degree in acting. She has been a talented girl from that time and during her education, she also won the Irene Ryan Award at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.


She started her career way in the 1994, when she appeared in the movie “Without Consent”. After college Mireille played a minor role in the comedy movie “Someone Like You” in the 2001. In the 2005 she played on Broadway with a play “Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” and later was nominated for a Tony Award for this work. She joined the popular TV series “Big love” by playing the roles of twins Kathy and JoDean Marquart in the 2007. Being a regular character in the third and fourth seasons she got her breakthrough time.

She became a very successful actress after her amazing role of Sarah Linden in the popular detective television series “The Killing”. For three years of work on this project she was nominated as Lead Actress in a Drama Series for a Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award. In the 2013 she played the role of Karin Lane in the movie “World War Z” along with Brad Pitt. The film was directed by Marc Forster and released on June 2, 2013. In the same year she also appeared in the movies like “Gangster Squad” and “Devil's Knot”. The next year Mireille took a part in the action thriller “Sabotage” and e romantic drama movie “If I Stay”. In the 2016 she played in the thriller film “The Catch”.

She also made her appearances in numerous TV shows, like “Sex and the City”, “Strong Medicine”, “Crossing Jordan”, “CSI: Miami”, “Rescue Me”, “Without a Trace”, and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”. During her career, she received nominations for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – TV Series, Drama, and also three Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV.

Mireille is a very active in the social media and also has a page on the wiki. She is married to Alan Ruck on January 4, 2008. Her husband is an actor too. They are welcomed two children, a daughter Vesper Vivienne Ruck and son Larkin Zouey Ruck. Enos was raised by religious parents and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has an estimated net worth of that whopping $5 million dollars and also earns a massive salary of 500 thousand dollars.
