manoj k jayan was born on 15th march 1966. he resides in kerela, india. he was born to K.G. jayan and V.K. sarojini. he attended a government college in nattakam. he also attended southern film institute in trivandrum. he is into acting in tamil, malayalam and telgu films. he was married to urvashi in 2000 but sadly got divorced in 2008. he is now married to asha. the couple got married in 2011. he is blessed with two children named, amrit and tejalakshmi.

Manoj Jayan played Koteswara Rao in Billa 2, an action thriller film in 2012. He played Thalakkal Chanthu in the biographical action film Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja in 2009. He played Eddy in the action crime film Big B in 2007. He portrayed Rayban in the romantic action drama film Neram in 2013. He came forth in a thriller movie named Zacharia Pothen Jeevichirippundu in 2017. He acted in a drama film named Crossroad in 2017. He was a part of an action thriller film Solo in 2017.
