She played the role of Audrey Raines, a diplomat and a lobbyist and her performance won her a lot of acclaim. Kim’s first stint with tinseltown however, was when she started as a child artist in Sesame Street when she was barely 6. Kim has also delivered noteworthy performances in other popular series such as Grey’s anatomy and Third watch. She is known for her strikingly long angular face and delicate features.

Raver’s role as the go-getter medico received a lot of fan-dom, however, one reporter of Entertainment Weekly wrote that Kim had not been used in the show to her fullest potential until the later episodes. She joined the show during its 6th season and reprised her rolefor three seasons after which she quit. This came in as a shocker for both the producers and the audience alike.
