Kevin Chamberlin

Kevin Chamberlin was born on November 25, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was raised in Moorestown Township, New Jersey, since his family moved from Baltimore, when he was 9 years old. Kevin got his first acting experience in elementary school, when he was involved in school production of “Tom Sawyer” playing the role of Huck Finn. After high school, Kevin Chamberlin studied acting at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of Arts in New Brunswick, Jersey, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting in the 1985. After university time he moved to New York City, where he visited some auditions by playing on piano and spent most of his time teaching voice. Kevin made his actor debut in the early 90s. Since then he acted on stage with role of a preacher in “Off-Broadway play” which he received good publicity from critics. He appeared in the several Broadway shows like “My Favorite Year”, “Triumph of Love”, “Chicago”, “The Ritz” and “Abe Lincoln in Illinois”. His first movie project was “Smoke on the mountain” in the 1990. In the 1994 he appeared in PBS children show. He also got a recurring role in the TV series “Ghostwriter” in 1994. Kevin also starred the role of Charles Weiss - enthusiastic NYPD bomb expert in the movie “Die Hard: With a Vengeance” in the 1995 along with Bruce Willis. At the same year he was Co-starred Mary Tyler Moore on CBS series “New York News”.


In the 1997 he played in blockbuster comedy “In and Out” and “Triumph of love”. Kevin appeared with minor role in movie “Trick” in the 1999. He played a role of Horton Elephant in Broadway musicals “Seussical” in the 2000. Kevin landed his role of a Charlie on Broadway show “Dirty Blonde” and got his first nomination in Drama Desk and Tony Awards in 2000. He is best known for his roles as Bertram Winkle on the Disney Channel Original Series sitcom “Jessie” during 2011-2015. He is mainly popular for starring the role of Uncle Fester in “The Addams Family”. For this work he won a Broadway Audience Award for Favorite Performance by a Featured Actor in a Broadway Musical. Kevin was also a guest on the sitcom “Frasier”. He appeared as Aron Malsky in the NBC prime-time series Heroes. Chamberlin made an appearance in a Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, played a man named Roger Berry. He appeared in the TV series include “Ed”, “Jake in Progress”, “Sex, Love & Secrets” and “State of Mind”. Kevin has been nominated three times for his acting in Broadway. He was nominated for Best actor and best actor in musical “Seussical” and also best featured actor in musical Addams family. He has also received the Drama desk nominations for his several roles. Kevin accepted that he is gay, so he does not have any children and not married. He has successful career and currently his net worth is 500 thousand dollars.
