Personal life

Kelsey Grammer was born on 21st February, 1955 in Saint Thomas, U.S.A. He belongs to white ethnicity while his zodiac sign is Pisces. It is not surprising that Kelsey got into the Hollywood industry as his father Frank Allen Grammer was himself a musician. Apart from being a musician, Frank also owned a bar, a coffee shop and a grill. Kelsey’s mother was named Sally who was a housewife.

He has a younger sister as well named Karen. Grammer was just a couple of years old when his parents parted ways. Since then, he and his sister were raised by their grandfather and mother. Sadly, Kelsey’s grandfather, who was his biggest support during his childhood, passed away when he was 11. When he turned 13, another tragedy came his way as his father got murdered.

Kelsey Grammer is a multi-talented actor, comedian, producer, director, singer and writer. Kelsey first gained everybody’s attention when he appeared in ‘Macbeth’ as Lennox in the year 1981. He was lucky to get this role as Philip Anglim was forced to withdraw. In a revival of ‘Othello’, Kelsey portrayed Michael Cassio. In 1983, he performed in ‘Sunday in the Park with George’. His Broadway musical debut was in April 2010 when he played Georges in ‘La Cage aux Follex’. He even got nominated for Tony Award for ‘Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical’.

Apart from movies, Kelsey has been a prominent figure in television shows as well. His TV career began in 1980s when he enacted in ‘Kennedy’. Kelsey gathered a lot of fans when he enacted in the NBC sitcom ‘Cheers’. Kelsey portrayed Dr. Frasier Crane in ‘Cheers’. Kelsey Grammer runs a production company named ‘Grammnet Productions’ which produces famous sitcoms like ‘The Game’, ‘Medium’ and ‘Girlfriends’. His mid-Atlantic accent and a deep voice are ideal for voiceover work. He provided the voice for Sideshow Bob on ‘The Simpsons’, for which he won an Emmy Award.
