Emmanuelle Chriqui took birth in the city of Montreal situated in Quebec on the date 10th December 1975 with the name Emmanuelle Sophie Anne Chriqui given to her by her parents, Liliane and Albert Chriqui. Both of her parents belonged to the state of Morocco and she had a traditional Sephardic upbringing as both of them were religiously Jewish and followed Judaism.
She grew up in the province of Ontario along with her 2 elder siblings, Laurence and Serge. Her mother worked in the sector of beauty and aesthetics and she believed that her daughter would become an actress one day. She passed away when she was still a teenager due to colonic cancer and she was determined to make her mother’s words come true. She finished her high school at the Unionville High School where she took a course in their program in dramatics.

Emmanuelle Chriqui had inclinations to pursue a career in acting from a very young age and the first time she ever appeared on a screen was when she was 10 years of age and she did a commercial for McDonald’s. When she completed her high school she knew she wanted to act in films so in the year 1995 she shifted to Vancouver and she got roles as a guest star in some short television series.
As she kept doing those roles she got to do her first Hollywood movie named “Detroit Rock City” in which she was a supporting actress. After that, she made her way up the ladder in the acting career by appearing in movies like “Wrong Turn” and “Snow Day”. She received her big break when she got to star alongside the great actor, Adam Sandler in the movie “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan” and when she landed the role of playing the character Sloan in the television series, “Entourage”, launched by HBO.
She has been nominated for many awards and has been the cover girl of some magazines because of her splendid beauty. She has also worked in tv shows like “The Mentalist”.
