Ashley Judd is an American actress, political activist and a humanitarian. She has starred in almost 30-35 movies and a dozen of TV shows in a time span of 20 years. She was the leading actress in many movies like Ruby in Paradise , Norma Jean & Marilyn , Kiss the Girls , Double Jeopardy , Where the Heart Is ,High Crimes , De-Lovely , Bug , Dolphin Tale , Divergent , Dolphin Tale 2 , and The Divergent Series: Insurgent.

She was born on 19th April 1968 in Granada hills in California. Her father, whose name was Michael Ciminella was an ardent sports broadcasting producer but left to heavenly abode in 1972 when Judd was just 4 years old. Naomi Judd, her mother was a famous songwriter, country music singer and actress. She is the reason Ashley is in the show biz. Ashley Judd also has a sister Wynonna Judd who is also a country music singer.

She has a master’s degree in Public administration from the very prestigious Harvard. She also hold a major in French. Moreover, she wishes to do her doctorate in UC Berkeley.
