Anna Faris is a popular singer and renowned actress of the film industry. She has made several film appearances and on screen appearances in many television series.


Anna Faris was born in the year 1976 on November 29th. She grew up with her elder brother in Baltimore, Maryland. Both her parents belonged from an academic background. Her mother, Karen Faris was a teacher of special education and her father, Jack was a professor of sociology at Towson University. When her father got an offer letter from the University of Washington, she moved with her parents to Edmonds, Washington. Her mother also took up a job at the Seaview Elementary School in Edmonds.

Her parents always wanted their children to pursue a career in the academic path but she always had a knack for the television industry from a very early age. Her elder brother was very devoted towards studies and her parents expected the same from her but she could not fulfill those expectations. She always remained indulged in fashion magazines and television shows which her parents disliked. She had to grow up in a strict discipline and went to the Edmonds Woodway High School.

When in high school, she used to perform in radio plays. She was also an active member in the drama club of her school. She was also very beautiful and had received many proposals during her high school days. Later, she achieved the bachelors degree in English literature and went to the University of Washington in the year 1999. She never left theatre and acting and always wanted to go further with her acting career. As her parents did not have enough money to afford her acting career, she took up some part time jobs to help her family financially.

A local acting agent saw her in a public theatre and offered her a role in the Scary Movie. After this, she tried several opportunities and moved to Hancock Park in Ravenswood. She appeared in the film Lovers Lane in a major role in the year 1999. She had a very good figure and imparted the role of a cheerleader in the film. She appeared in the horror film May in the role of a young lesbian for which she was also nominated in the MTV Movie Awards.

She also appeared in the sequel movie Scary Movie 2 in the year 2001. Next, she also appeared in the films The Guardian, The Hot Chick, Brokeback Mountain, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, The House Bunny, Smiley Face, Observe and Report, Alvin and the Chipmunks : The Squeakquel, The Hollywood Reporter, Take Me Home Tonight, Chipwrecked, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I Give It a Year, Movie 43, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, The Road Chip and many more. She has also secured a number of awards for her major appearances such as the People’s Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Stony Awards, Online Film & Television Association Awards, Prism Awards and many others for her other appearances.
