Aaron was working on small car shop in Dallas when he met Richard. The older mechanic arrived at the store and ask for their top guy to air ride his 1953 Ford Mainline. Aaron took the job and quickly impressed his future colleague. Richard opened the Gas Monkey Garage on 2002. He remembered Aaron and the pride the young mechanic took on his work, so he called him to work in his workshop.
On 2012, the Gas Monkey Garage debuted as the main scenario of the Discovery Channel’s car restoration show, where Aaron demonstrated his surprisingly simple strategy: a restored car has to be cohesive from the back to the interior and the front end. There are no extra pieces.
Fast N’ Loud
Fast N’ Loud is a reality by the Discovery Channel featuring Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman as they scourge derelict cars and restore them alongside the Gas Monkey Garage crew. They always work under a tight work schedule, and after they finish restoring the cars they have to auction the vehicle.
The most successful season of the show was the first one, and it has become one of the favorite shows of American men. In fact, a 2016 survey by the New York Times found that Fast N’ Loud is the most favorite show by men.
Personal life
Aron Kaufman is not married. His loud personality and talents have left little room for romance. He was once in love with Lindsay J., a Dallas girl. They started the relationship early 2009 and were together for about 3 and a half years. However, they parted ways in 2012 and she never became her wife.
There is not much more information about his private life on the media. There are rumors about his sexuality and gossip pointing that Aaron is gay.
