Tarek El Moussa is handsome and young and he is of American nationality. He was working in real estate as an agent, up to the time of financial crisis of 2008. From his biography, Tarek El Moussa was born in the city of Long Beach in Southern California. He is American but his ethnicity is not clear. Some sources say that he has a father who was born in Egypt so he is a Moroccan. He grew up in the Buena Park in California and he spent most of the childhood in the place. Besides this, there is no information about what he was doing in his childhood and in his early life. There are sources that say that he may have gone into the elementary school, however, it is not clear about which elementary school it was.
Tarek El Moussa had been involved into different careers such as selling of the kitchen knives and to clean the diesel trucks. He got the first license of working as a real estate agent when he was 21 years old. He was working as a full time real estate agent.
After sometime, he moved to work at TV. It was because of the financial crisis that took place in 2008. To get the job, he sent the tape about house flipping to HGTV, they liked it and they allowed him to continue with the show. Now the show is in the 6th season.
Tarek El Moussa is getting enough money working on his show and he had been able to make up to 3 million dollars. Besides flipping house, Tarek is also known to fly planes. He has a pilot license.
When the show started, the show got a slot at 11pm because HGTV was not sure about them and if the show will do well or not. In the first year, the show got over 1 million viewers.
When one of the fans saw the lump at the neck of Terek, she talked to HGTV and told them that he should go to see a doctor at once and he did. He was found out to suffer Thyroid cancer and it has spread to the lymph nodes.
Tarek El Moussa got married to Christina El Moussa but he had already filed for a divorce. They met when they were working and they got married in 2009. They have two children: Taylor El Moussa and Brayden El Moussa. They have been together for 7 years.
