Sue Perkins was born on 22nd September 1969 in London. She is an actress, writer, broadcaster and a comedian. She is eldest out of 3 siblings. Her mother was working a secretary and her father used to work for a dealers of cars. She studied at Croham Hurst School. This school was a girl’s only school. She graduated from Cambridge University in the year 1990. She was a member of Footlights while she was studying at Cambridge University. During the year 1991-92, she was the president of footlights. She loves watching football or as it is called soccer in America.


She met Mel Giedroyc during her Cambridge days. Later they started their own television show. The show was named as Mel and Sue. They gained success and were nominated in the Edinburgh Festival under the “Best Newcomers” category. They wrote for “French & Saunders” for few years and after that she started co-hosting lunch time show named as “Light Lunch” and an early evening show named as “Late Lunch” from 1997 to 1998. She was seen in the “Celebrity Big Brother” show in the year 2002. She was evicted from house on 9th Day itself. She was in the house only for charity. She gave voice in “Dinotopia” to the messenger bird. She joined the morning TV program of Channel 4 named as “RI:SE” in the year 2003. She provided an additional written material for “Absolutely Fabulous”, a program of BBC in the same year. She has been seen in various shows of BBC like “Mock the Week”, “Q1”, “Room 101”, “Have I Got News for You” and “NewsNight”. She was the host of second season of the series “Good Evening”. She was seen in the quiz show named as “Never Mind the Full Stops” in the year 2006. During her acceptance speech for attitude awards, she mentioned that they have been recognized first time for their work. She was seen in “Edwardian Supersize Me” in the year 2007. In 2008, she appeared in reality TV show named as “Maestro”. In the same year, she narrated “…And Proud”. She is member of the panel of “The News Quiz” of Radio 4. She was chairman of “The 99p Challenge”, a show of Radio 4. She judged “Man Booker Prize” in the year 2009. She was the chairman of Radio 4’s game named as “Dilemma” whose podcast is also available on bbc website. In the year 2008, she appeared as guest on the discussion program named as “Private Passions” which used to get aired on “BBC Radio 3”.

She is currently with Anna Richardson. Anna is working a journalist. There is a research assistant with same name as Anna Richardson who was involved in committee who was investigating the company Monavie. She fought with Brain Tumor for 8 years which was confirmed by her in the month of September in the year 2015. That’s the reason, she will not be able to have kids.
