Stephanie Rose "Steph" McGovern was born on the 31st of May, 1982 in Middlesbrough, North East England. Her parents were happy to welcome their daughter. As to the siblings, Stephanie seems to have none of them. While being a child she attended Kader Primary School. She grew up an ordinary girl and did not stand out of the crowd. During the formative years, she was studying at the Macmillan City Technology College. The education was very important factor for Mcgovern. Later she entered University College London, where she studied Science Communication and Policy in the Department of Science and Technology Studies. Her first place of job was at the BBC, on the Tomorrow's World program, where she worked as a researcher in some affairs.
Soon, Stephanie became the main producer for daily financial news on the Today program on Radio 4. She was also the main producer of business news on the BBC's One, Six and Ten O'Clock news bulletins. She cooperated with the business editor, Robert Peston.
In 2010, McGovern started working for BBC Radio 5 Live. She also was seen on “Wake Up to Money”. In 2012, she succeeded while being a presenter on the BBC Breakfast together with Roger Johnson. At the same time, she was appearing in the main show during the Christmas holiday. Four years after, she was starring on “Pocket Money Pitch” for CBBC. Soon, she and Alex Jones took part in making the program “Shop Well for Less?” for BBC One.
In June, it was announced that McGovern would cooperate with the BBC Watchdog presenting team from the autumn. Currently, she does not appear in any of the shows aforementioned. However, she is very enthusiastic and hardworking person. Due to the persistent work, her net worth and salary is enough for having no needs and financial problems in her living.
