Sara Ramirez was born in the year 1975 on August 31st. She was born in Mexico. She was brought up in Mexican culture as both her parents belonged to the Mexican origin. When she was only six years old, a split took place between her father and mother which lead to a divorce between them. She had to move with her mother and settled in California. However, she had a knack for music from a very early age.
Her mother also sent her to music school seeing her growing interest towards music. She was admitted to the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts for learning music. When she went there for auditions, she was praised by the judges for her beautiful voice. She also participated in many of her school events and won many trophies and certifications for her school.
