Michelle was born on 11 April 1987. She was born in Boston in United States of America. There is no information about her parents but as per the records, Michelle has two siblings. One of them is an elder brother and the other one is a younger sister. Michelle completed her schooling from Tampa Bay Technical High School and she later enrolled herself in Ringling College of Art and Design. It is known that her childhood was spend in Florida along with her family and in later years, she also received an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from Ringling College.

Michelle started her career in 2005 and she started her career with a blog. Her blog gained a lot of popularity because of the content. She mainly posted content about makeup styles and she also posted a lot of tutorial videos. This was the reason why it became extremely popular among youth. Two years later, in 2007, she started a YouTube channel to upload such videos.
In 2009, she posted a tutorial where she taught the skills of replicating the makeup of Lady Gaga’s Eyes and the post literally went viral. That earned her over a million subscribers overnight. Michelle later got an opportunity to work with Lancôme. She worked as Lancôme’s representative on global scale.
In 2011, she launched a new service known as My Glam. Under the service, the subscribers were send beauty products on monthly basis. The service gained quite a hype among people. In 2013, L’Oréal joined hands with Michelle and together, they launched a new product line. The new product was known as EM. Later in 2014, Michelle launched a talent network. The aim of this was to provide platform to talented people on YouTube.
In 2014, Michelle also launched a book. The name of the book was ‘make up: Your Guide to Beauty, Style and Success’. And the same year, because of her growing subscriber base, her YouTube channel was given a rank of 48 among the top 100 channels. Her company was valued at around 500 Million Dollars and last year, she also worked for a video game and she gave her voice to Jessica Jones in the game. It is known that she Michelle was also sued for copyright infringement. The case was later dissolved owing to mutual understanding and out of court settlement.
In an interview, Michelle confessed her love for Dominique Capraro. It is known that she is dating her present boyfriend since 2010 and she is often spotted with her partner. Michelle also won two awards in 2014 and one of the award was Streamy Award under the category of Best YouTube Guru and the second award was sponsored by Teen Choice Award and she got this award under the category of Best YouTube Guru. Michelle is known to be earning 3 Million American Dollars Annually and her net worth is estimated to be 5 Million Dollars. She has over 8 Million followers on social media and she is quite active on Instagram and twitter.
