Maureen married Fox New host Bill and got separated. After the divorce settlement, Bill paid her spouse settlement and got separated. They have a teen daughter and a son together, Madeline. There was a custody battle and Maureen own the battle with visitation rights for Bill. Maureen started to date Jeffrey Gross, a detective around the time of her separation. She dated him for a few years and got married.
$10 million lawsuit
This is where the drama starts. Bill had accused Maureen for having an affair when he was married to her. He also said that she used the money that he gave her as divorce settlement to finance her relationship with the detective. He had filed $10 million lawsuit for the same. Court even ruled out Bill’s request for joint custody and gave sole custody of the children to Maureen.
Attack on Jeffery
Bill did not stop right there. He also recommended internal affairs investigation on Gross. He also tried to ban her and Jeffery from the Catholic Church that he attends. He stated that Maureen has convinced her children that second marriage is valid under the eyes of God and should be banned from the Church.
Current marriage
Jeffery and Maureen are in good terms. Jeffery is a widower with children and they live together in his house. There is no evidence for fights or other marital disputes that are occurring between them. It is assumed that they are close to each other and there is no chance of divorce in near future.
