Christopher Brian Bridges is popularly known as Ludacris. He is an American rapper and also a renowned actor. He has won several Grammy awards. He is also the proud founder of the social agency,'Disturbing The Peace'.Christopher was born on September 11th, 1977 in Chanpaign, Illinois, in the United States. He was born to his parents Roberta Shields and Wanys Brian Bridges and is an American by nationality. He was the only son of his parents and belonged to a middle class family. His passion for rapping began at the age of 9, when his family moved to Atlanta. Later at the age of 12, he joined an amateur rap group with some of his school friends. Christopher went to the Emerson Middle School, then the Centreville High School and after that the Bannekar High School from where he graduated in the year 1995. Later, from the year 1998 to 1999, he studied music management at the Georgia State University. His rapping career began with his girst debut album known as 'In Cognegro' before which he has served as an intern and then also as a DJ at the Atlanta's Hot 97.5 (now 107.9) by the name of 'Chris Lova Lova'.
Ledacris became very popular by this name to the audience. His major success was 'Back for the First Time' in the year 2000 which was ranked fourth on the U.S. Billboard 200. He also became very popular for World of Mouf, Act a Fool from Fast and Furious 2 where he himself appeared on the screen. Splash Waterfalls, Blow It Out, The Red Light District were the next works by him. His popular Rekease Therapy brought him the Grammy Award in 2007 under the category of the 'Best Rap Album'. Ludacris' Theater of the Mind and Battle of Sexes made him much popular amongst his followers.
As an actor, Christopher appeared in films such as Crash, Gamer, New Year's Eve. Ludacris made himself best known on the screen by his appearance in the blockbuster movie Fast and Furious 6 in the role of Tej Parker. In the year 2014, he got married to Eudoxie Mbouguingue. He has three daughters who are named as Karma, Caiand and Cadence.
Besides being an actor and rappist, Ludacris is a philanthropist too. He engaged himself in a joint effort between Do Something and Better World Books, to collect books and help to restock library in New Orloans. He also started the Ludacria Foundation which focuses on 3L's which are leadership and education, living healthy and ludacares.
Ludacris have received many awards and nominations. Besides winning 3 Grammy Awards in the year 2005 and other two awards in the year 2006 he also won the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award for 9 times. He has also received the MTV video music award and the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Presently, he is working on his ninth studio album as he has already confirmed in an interview with the Complex Magazine. So long as social media is concerned, Ledacris is active on Twitter.
