Leeza Gibbons

Leeza Gibbons, born Leeza Kim Gibbons on 26th March 1957, has been a U.S. host of TV Show as well as a radio show. She has been particularly famous for co-hosting Entertainment Tonight from 1984 to 2000 and working as a correspondent for the show. She is also known for her talk show entitled Leeza for the period 1993 to 2000.


She also authored a book entitled Take 2 which turned out to be a bestseller. She won several awards including Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Host for the show entitled My Generation. She has been active since 1976 to the present days. Recently in 2017, she had been the co-host of the Rose Paradise.

Personal Life

Leeza was born to father Carlos Gibbons ad mother Jean Gibbons. She took birth in Hartsville belonging to the state of South Carolina. The TV Show host’s mother and father ran a shop of antiques. Leeza, though born in Hartsville, spent her early life in Irmo, South Carolina.

As for Leeza’s education, she studied at Irmo High School. After completion of her school education, Leeza joined the University of South Carolina. She graduated and obtained a degree in Summa Cum Laude from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University. Leeza is an American national, but her ethnicity is not on record.

Leeza is married for the present. She has married four times by now. Presently, she is married to Steve Fenton whom she married on 20th April 2011. Obviously, she has sought divorce from the previous three husbands.

Leeza is 5’ and 8” in height and weighs 65 kg. Her hair color is blonde, and the color of her eyes is brown. The vital statistics of her body are 37-26-38 inches.

Career

Leeza has been active in the entertainment industry from the year 1976 to the present days. Initially, she worked with WSPA=TV situated in South Carolina. She had also been associated with WFAA-TV and KFDM-TV in Texas. After that, she shifted to New York City where she joined WCBS-TV. In that TV channel, she had been the co-host along with Robb Weller of the show “Two on the Town”. Then she co-hosted another show entitled Entertainment Tonight in the year 1984.

Later, Rob Weller became the co-host of the show. Leeza had been associated with the show till 2000 as co-host and reporter. During that very period, she hosted her own daytime talk show entitled “Leeza” on NBC. Her show “Leeza” continued from the year1993 to 2000. Prior to this during the 1990s, she also hosted a radio show entitled “Blockbuster Top 25 Countdown with Leeza Gibbon”.

Leeza has, at the same time, brought out a number of infomercials by now, and those include Personal Power 2, Dr. Denese Skinscience, and Get the Edge. She had been the managing editor and host of the television show entitled Extra from 2001 to 2003. She also hosted My Generation, a PBS Show from the year 2011 to 2015. Currently, she has been hosting “Hollywood Confidential”. To add more feathers to her cap, she has written 5 books so far, including 'Take your Oxygen first' and 'Take 2'. Her net worth is estimated at $20 million.
