Her acting, writing and producing skills won her many nominations and awards. Her movie, Under Still Waters released in 2006 won her an award for outstanding performance in acting and it was given by the Newport Beach Film Festival.

Lake Bell also has had a reasonably successful stint in the small screen. It all started in 2002 with a title by the name ER where she acted in the role of Jody Holmes. Since then it has been quite good for her and she has acted in 20 titles and quite a few of them have been multiple episodes of seven and eight and even seventeen and eighteen.
