Ed Lover really name is James Roberts. He is a former MTV VJ, radio personality, musician, actor and a rapper. He is the host of The ED Lover Show at Old-School hip hop station called SiriusXM. He is also the host of the same show with Monie Love during morning at The Boom 97.5/102.9. Roberts’s place of bright is Hollis of Queens in New York.

Before he became famous at MTV, he was a member of enigmatic and eccentric hip hop collective under the name of No Face. He was with other members like Mark Sexx and Kevon Shah. No face started in the year 1989 at club music at Island Records. The group continued to record for over five years but it released one album called Wake Your Daughter up under their No Face label and it was operated as imprint of Rush Associated labels Division under Def Jam Recordings.,
Wake Your Daughter UP had two single songs Fake Hair Wearing Bitch and the underground cult classic that was sampled by You Dropped A Bomb On Me by The Gap Band and it featured The 2 Live Crew and the Half which is an R&B styled divorce tale which features the hardcore female hip hop duo called Bytches with Problems or BWP. BWP was found and it was recorded for the No Face label and it became even bigger with better success than it was by No Face itself.
He was featured in the video called HFL and it aired on Yo! MTV Raps during the tenure when he was still a co-host. For the reasons that are yet to be known or looking to avoid the conflict with duties at MTV, he left NO Face after RAL. It was a Swan song to his group, friends and label and there was a cameo appearance together with his partner Doctor Dre for the video of third single of BWP under the name Wanted. This was from his only album The Bytches in 1991.
From his biography, he is the co-host to the weekday version of MTV called Yo! MTV Raps Today and his other co-host is Doctor Dre Brown. He created own dance known as Ed Lover Dancer and it became a popular dance of 1990s. He was also the person who hosted a high rated show called Ed, Lisa and Dre at Hot 97 FM in 1993 until 1998. He became a radio host for a Hip Hop Radio Power called 105.1. He started in 2003 up to 2010. He was reprimanded because he likes to use word Bitches by Oprah Winfrey. Information about who are her parents or siblings is not found online. It is said that he was once married to a woman called Kim but they divorced.
