Throwing some light on Dash Mihok’s early life, he was born in New York City as the son of Raymond Thorne and Andrea Mihok, both of them being professional actors. Mihok has two elder sisters namely Cecily Trenka and Gwen Mihok. While the first one is a science teacher in school, the latter is an actress. He belongs to Czech and British descent while his nationality is American. He belongs to the white ethnicity of U.S.A. and his zodiac sign is Taurus. Being born on 24th May, 1974, he is 43 years old as of now.
Dash was raised in Greenwich Village and attended PS 3, which is a public school in Manhattan, currently with the name of John Melser Charrette School. He then attended the Center School for pursuing his middle school. While he was in Bronx High School of Science, Dash played baseball and also joined ‘CityKids Repertory’ and made an appearance in the television show called ‘CityKids’. Apart from these schools, Dash also went to the Professional Children’s School while he was in Manhattan along with actor Donald Faison. Mihok went on to pursue college studies and he attended the Fordham University but never graduated since he started working at 18.
Apart from being an established actor, Mihok is a philanthropist as well. He is a spokesperson for the non-profit organisation called ‘Jaylens Challenge’. He also actively supported the Tourette Syndrome Association. Both his elder sisters are diagnosed with this syndrome. He married famous singer Valeria Mason in 2009. Career
Dash Mihok’s journey as an actor began from his hometown, New York. He appeared as a young guest actor on various dramas like ‘NYPD Blue’, ‘New York Undercover’ and ‘Law & Order’. His debut film ‘Black is White’ was released in 1994. He was highly acclaimed for his work as that of a mentally unbalanced youth in ‘Murderous Intent’ and also for ‘Sleepers’. Although his performances in these films were good, he first gained massive attention from people when he enacted in ‘Romeo+Juliet’, which was a super hit movie by Baz Luhrmann released in 1996.
Dash Mihok starred as Rhea Pearlman’s problematic son Joey on the sitcom ‘Pear’ which was quite famous back in 1996. He also had a role on the WB’s college drama named ‘Felicity’ as that of Lynn, who was a swimmer and was attending a fictional University of New York. ‘Felicity’ was aired on television during 1999. He later appeared as a guest on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the year 2000.
