Personal life  

Charlie Cox was born in the year 1982 on December 15th. He was the youngest child of his parents Andrew Frederick Seaforth Cox and Patricia C. A. He had five siblings and the family resided in London in the United Kingdom. Along with this, he also had three siblings from his father’s second marriage. He spent his childhood years in East Sussex. Cox had a Roman Catholic background.

He was a very good student and took much interest in literature. He was encouraged to study literature from his father, who was a publisher. He went to the Ashdown House School. As this school was situated in a suburban area, he later left the school and joined the Sherborne School. Before completing his graduation, he changed his school again and took admission in the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. This school had many co-curricular activities admission. He participated in dramas and music more than anything else.

After that, he even joined the theatre group to make his way to the acting career. He got into a relationship with Samantha Thomas. She is the producer of the Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. Cox tied the knot with his girlfriend after dating each other for several years. In the year 2016, the couple was also blessed with a child. Both of them are now leading a happy married life with their child and there is no news of divorce, till now.

Career 

Cox started his professional career in the year 2002, at the age of twenty. He stepped into the industry after completing his graduation but initially, he did not get enough success in his career. He started doing modelling and also did a few advertisements. Cox almost gave up on his hopes to become an actor. There was also a financial crisis going on in his family back then and he had to do a part time job to pay a financial support to his family. The five long years was very hard for him till, in the year 2007, he was chosen to play the role of Tristan Thorn in the film ‘Stardust’.

After the great success, he was casted in the film ‘Stone of Destiny’ where he played the character of Ian Hamilton in the year 2008. He did not limit his success to the film industry but also appeared in many TV shows. He started initially with the ITV drama series known as Downton Abbey. Later, in the upcoming years of his career, he made many other appearances in the other television series. He presented many favourites to his followers which increased his popularity among his followers. He has many followers on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. Along with huge number of followers, he also has a very high net worth which is in millions.
