Brad Garrett (real name Brad Gerstenfeld) was born on April 14, 1960 in Woodland Hills, California. His parents were Barbara and Albert Gerstenfeld. He also has two brothers named Jeff and Paul. He studied at the George Ellery Hale Middle School. Later he relocated to El Camino Real High School, which located in Woodland Hills. After graduation, he enrolled the University of California in Los Angles.

He started his career as a stand-up comedian in different clubs in Los Angeles. In the 1984 he participated in the popular comedy television show “Star Search.” and became a winner and earned the title of the grand champion and 100 thousand dollars. Afterwards he appeared as a guest on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. He spent a lot of time by working in such places like “The Improv”and “The Ice House”.
During 1985-1986 he tried himself as a voice actor for Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Wrestling cartoon series, where he was Hulk Hogan. Afterwards, he has made his appearance in numerous movies and tv shows such as “Porco Rosso ”, “Jetsons: The Movie”, “The Transformers” and “The Adventures of Don Coyote and Sancho Panda”. In the 1995 he was involved in “Casper” cartoon. In the 1997 he played in the movie “Suicide Kings ”.
The next year he appeared in “Postal Worker ”, “A Bug's Life” and “Everybody Loves Raymond ”. For the last project, where he played the role of Robert Barone, he earned five Emmy Award nominations as well as three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series during 2002 -2005.
In the 2003 he played in the movie “Gleason” and later got another Emmy Award. In the same year he appeared in such projects like “Stuart Little 2”, “The Country Bears”, “Legend of the Lost Tribe” and “Bleacher Bum”. In the 2005 he tried himself on a Broadway play “The Odd Couple”. In the 2016 he appeared as the voice of Krang, in the comedy superhero movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadow”.
In the 2008 he became the executive producer for, an online reality TV show called “Dating Brad Garrett”. In the same year he served as a host for “Cheech & Chong” show on TBS channel. He opened his own casino in Las Vegas in the 2010. He also is the owner of Brad Garrett's Comedy Club in Tropicana Las Vegas. He also is a poker player and even won the fifth season championship of Celebrity Poker Showdown.
He is married to Jill Diven. Hey tied their married knot in the 1999. He has made a propose to his future wife Jill during the filming of Everybody Loves Raymond in the 1998. They have two children together, which was named Maxwell and Hope. In the 2005 the couple separated and divorced officially in the 2007. There is no news about his new girlfriend or wife.
