PERSONAL LIFE:
Beth was born in 1985 to David and Maureen Behrs. Although she was born in Pennsylvania, her family later moved to Virginia where she was raised for the most part. Beth had her first stint with acting when she was four. She began to perform in theatre in school. When she was fifteen, the family moved to California where she gave acting a real shot. She enrolled at the prestigious UCLA School of Theatre, film and television, from where she began auditioning for roles during her final year.
As on July 2016, Behrs has been engaged to Mad Men star Michael Gladies after six years of dating.The pair met on the sets of ‘The Argument’ a short film for the comedy website ‘Funny or Die’in which both of them starred. They had a romantic engagement in New York alongside a private jazz concert of her favorite band. She also showed off her rock and spoke candidly about her engagement on the Ellen De Generes show.
CAREER:
When in school, Beth performed in a lot of theatre productions such as Korczak’s Children, A Bright Room Called Day and several musicals such as Dangling Conversations: The Music of Simon and Garfunkel. Beth landed her first movie role in American pie resents:The book of love, the seventh installment of the hugely acclaimed teen sex comedy movie series ‘American Pie’.Beth’s acting career has not been a smooth ride.
After small stints in a lot of movies and series like Castle, Adventures of serial buddies, etc. she landed her big role of Caroline Channing after 7 rounds of auditioning. She also worked as a nanny before getting her bigbreak. Beth is also a trained classical singer and has appeared alongside Lady Antebellum in her music video “The Downtown”. She has played as a voiceover artist in Monsters University, which is a prequel to Monsters Inc. She has been nominated twice, once for People’s choice awards and once for Teen choice awards for her breakout role in Two broke girls.
Beth has also committed herself to social causes. She co-authors the web comic series Dents which explores the themes of feminism, sexuality and environmental causes. She has also authored the book The Total Me-Tox: How to Ditch Your Diet, Move Your Body & Love Your Life, in which she talks about her personal journey towards fitness and maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle. Beth also has the “Sheherdpower foundation” to her credit, which she founded to help victims of sex abuse
