Ben Stokes was born as Benjamin Andrew Stokes on 4th June 1991 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ben’s father’s name is Gerard Stokes who was a rugby league player. His father got the responsibilities of head coach of Workington Town rugby league club so Ben moved to Cockermouth in West Cumbria, England with his family. Ben has been interested in cricket from a very young age. Ben got an opportunity to play for Cockermouth Cricket Club. In the year 2006, when Ben was just 15 years old, he won a Premier Division title in the North Lancashire & Cumbria Cricket League.
