Alex Fees’ Bio

Fees is currently 54 years old. He was born in Union, Missouri, the United States of America on 11th July 1964. His parents were Gilbert Fees and Sandra Fees, who passed away in 1998 and 2018 respectively. He has two siblings Cindy Fischer and Syd Fees.

Alex Fees’ Education

Alex graduated from Union High (high school) in 1982. After which he went to East Central College for a two-year degree in Associate of Arts in journalism. Following which, he studied at Southeast Missouri State University for a Bachelor in Arts degree in communication, from where he graduated in 1987.

Alex Fees’ Career

Fees started his career while studying at Southeast and working for the Capaha Arrow, the university newspaper which led to an internship at KTVO, a television station, which was affiliated to both ABC and CBS. He worked as a reporter at KOLN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska between August 1990 to December 1991. Following which he worked at KETV-TV in Omaha, Nebraska till December 1996, where in April 1995, he was promoted to the office of Capital Bureau Chief.

Alex started working at KSDK News in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1998. He worked there as a news correspondent, videographer, writer, producer and even editor. He worked at KSDK till 2013. For the next two years, Fees was the communications specialist at Mehlville School District, also in Saint Louis, Missouri. In September 2015, Fees started working at KTVI and KPLR. Fees had been nominated for an Emmy for a Cancer Community Outreach Program and a Young Alumni Merit Award at his alma mater, Southeast Missouri State University. He won a couple of awards from Nebraska Broadcasters Association, for a CB Radio presentation Prostitution, and Nebraska A.P. Broadcasters, for an Undercover PETA Raid. Fees also got an Honorable Mention at Nebraska A.P. Broadcasters for the series ‘Nightlife’. After this, Fees left the world of television
