Paul Lieberstein

Paul Lieberstein, born on 22nd February 1967, has been a U.S. TV producer, screenwriter, and actor. He is particularly known for his role as Toby in the TV series The Office (2005), The Office: The Accountants (2006), and King of the Hill (1997). He played a supporting role as Toby Flenderson during the entire 9 seasons of The Office. He had also been the showrunner for the seasons 5 to 8.

Lieberstein spent his early life at Westport, Connecticut, USA, where he was born. He is born to Stanley Lieberstein and Judith. His ethnicity is Jewish. Lieberstein’s father worked in a theater company while his mother had been a housewife. Lieberstein studied in Staples High School. After finishing school education, he attended Hamilton College from where he did his graduation in the year 1989. After graduation, he shifted to New York City where he got a job for the first time as Auditor in a firm.

The sister of Lieberstein is the president of YouTube programming and has been married to Greg Daniels, a producer, and screenwriter. Lieberstein’s brother namely Warren Lieberstein has married Angela Kinsey. Paul Faust is his cousin, and it is on him that “Cool Guy Paul” character has been based.

Lieberstein is married. He married Janine Serafin Poreba on 19th July 2008. Janine teaches English in Santa Monica College, California. The marriage ceremony took place in a restaurant called Battery Gardens in New York City. They keep their private life under wrap. They hardly appear together publically. Lieberstein had married previously another woman to whom he divorced. He has five children from both marriages. Career

Lieberstein started his career as an auditor for a firm named Peat Marwick International. However, he very soon left this job as he realized that his future lies in writing. Next, he wrote for several series, and some of them are “King of the Hill”, “The Naked Truth”, “Greg the Bunny”, “The Drew Carey Show”, “Dead Like Me”, and “The Bernie Mac Show”.

Lieberstein worked as a producer, actor, and writer for “The Office”, a U.S. version. He played the character Toby Flenderson in that series. He has also worked as an actor in several projects such as Bad Teacher” and “The Goods: Live Hard”. He has also been a producer of the third season of TV drama series entitled The Newsroom.
