Nancy Snyderman was born in the year 1952. Her age is 66 years old. She is an American physician, former broadcast journalist and an author. She worked like a medical correspondent of ABC News since 2006 up to 2015. She appeared on Today shows or at NBC Nightly News. She also appeared at MSNBC where she was talking about medical related issues. She works in Head and Neck surgery department staff with University of Pennsylvania found in Philadelphia.


In the year 2013, she started the website, in which she gives answers to the questions related to medical and health questions. She co-founded CarePlanners, the service that helps navigating healthcare system.

Her medical work had been published widely and she is the author of five different books. She got many awards because of medical broadcast reporting. She had different research grants. In the year 2015, Snyderman had to leave NBC News because of violation on Ebola quarantine, which became a well-known controversy.

From her bio, Nancy was born in St Louis Missouri. She is a daughter to Joy Synderman who is a housewife and to Sanford Snyderman who is a physician. She was born with a brother who also became a physician. She was raised at Ft Wayne in Indiana. She attended South Side High School in the year 1970 and went to Indiana University Bloomington where she got the Bachelor of Arts degree of Microbiology. She continued to get the Doctor of Medicine degree from the College of Medicine in the year 1977. She now lives in Princeton, in New Jersey.

She started her broadcasting career in the year 1984 from KATV, an ABC affiliate for the Little Rock. She worked like a medical correspondent at ABC News for over 15 years. He was the contributor of 20/20 Primetime and of Good Morning America.

Nancy Snyderman is married. Her husband is Douglas Myers. The two were married in 1993 and they have three children. The family is now living in Princeton of New Jersey.
