Max Joseph, born as H. Maxwell “Max” Joseph on 16th January 1982, has been a U.S. TV host and filmmaker. He has also been a writer and director of We Are Your Friends, Catfish: The TV Show, and Follow the Frog. He has so far produced, directed, and written more than sixty-four short films that include web videos and commercials.

Max has so far directed a number of films that include Too New To Be Classic, 12 Years of DFA: Too Old To Be New, Let Us Harvest the Organs of Death Row Inmates, and Garden of Eden to name just a few. Max is particularly famous for his being a co-host of the TV show entitled “Catfish: The TV Show”.

Personal Life

Max took birth in New York City. He spent his early life in Los Angeles with his father and mother. Max is an American by nationality and Caucasian by ethnicity. Helen has been the name of his grandmother, and the letter H in Max’s name comes from her name. There is nothing on record about his siblings and parents. Max had shown an interest in acting since an early age. As for Max’s education, he studied at Dalton School, and after completing the school education, he graduated from Brown University.

He became particularly famous and popular in 2013 when he released his documentaries entitled Too New To Be Classic, and 12 Years of DFA: Too Old To Be New. He directed the drama entitled We Are Friends in 2015. He also directed a documentary named “DICKS: Do you need to be one to be a successful leader” in the year 2018.

As for nominations and awards, Max had been nominated for Teen Choice Award in 2014 under the category Choice TV Personality: Male for his performances in Catfish: The TV Show.
