Margaret Warner

Margaret Warner is an established reporter and journalist. She works for The PBS NewsHour as a senior correspondent. She has worked as a reporter for many popular channels.


Margaret Warner was born in the year 1950 on February 12th. She was born to her Irish parents, Mildred Warner and Brainerd Henry Warner III. She spent her early childhood years in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Her father worked as a news host and her mother was a businesswoman. Her mother carried on her business from home, so that she can take care of her daughter.

She was sent to a missionary girls school where she received a strict upbringing. Later, when she was only seven years old, her parents got divorced and she shifted with her father. She had to change her school because her father settled in another city. She went to the Holton Arms School to receive her high school education. She was a very brilliant student and had a knack for literature and drama.

Margaret has also participated in various debate competitions and has fetched many awards for her school. Later, she went to the Yale University to pursue her bachelor's education. She did a major in English. She wanted to pursue English as her profession and wanted to carry on a research work but diverted her mind towards journalism after graduation. She did study further for journalism and got into the profession directly. She also had interest towards debate and political affairs.

Margaret started her career with a part time job as a reporter. As she did not have any degree, she did not get a full time job. She received training and did many internships but she did not get paid for that. When nothing was working out in his career, she started hosting several shows and events. She has also earned popularity as a host which helped her to build career as a journalist.

Margaret has worked with several popular news channels after this and she has also received several promotions for her dedication and hard work. She has always brought the best news for the channel which has helped her to top among all her colleagues. After that, she worked with The News Hour where she got the chance to cover the political news and affairs. Though her salary was very low during that time, she enjoyed her job a lot.

Her work became popularised which helped her to become an honourable personality. She holds a membership from the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, International Activities at Yale University and Council on Foreign Relations. Throughout her career, she has earned several awards and nominations for her work. She is very dedicated towards her work and never gets distracted from it for any reason. She balances her life very well and also remains focused in her family life. Besides that, she is also a very social person. She is on several social networking sites and keeps posting several updates regarding her personal life.
