Malinda Williams

Malinda Williams was born in the year 1975 and she is a producer and actress. She started the career in the television and afterwards she played the Wood, High School High, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate. Since 2000 until 2004, she was playing in the role of Tracy Bird Van Adams in the Showtime drama series called Soul Food and she got three nominations for NAACP Image Award for the Outstanding Actress in the Drama series. After playing in the Windfall, an NBC drama, she returned to play movies in the supporting role like in Days in New York, First Sunday, Daddy’s Little Girls and Idlewild.


Malinda Williams was born in Germany in the city of Heidelberg and her father is Fred Williams and her mother is Beverly. She was born with two sisters who are Lisa Sorensen and Leslie Dunn. The family moved to live in Westfield of New Jersey. She graduated in Westfield High School and she attended the Union County College of Elizabeth.

Malinda Williams started the career in tv shows by appearing in The Cosby Show in the year 1987. She was the guest start for NYPD Blue, Moesha, Sister, My So-Called Life and Miami Vice. She made the debut in the dark comedy romance in the film called A Thin Line Between Love and Hate where Martin Lawrence was a star with Lynn Whitfield. Afterwards, she co-starred in the movie Sunset Park together with Rhea Perlman. In High School High, he was with Mekhi Phifer. In the year 1997-1998, she was the start in WB sitcom called Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher. In the year 1999, she was in the romantic comedy film called The Wood and in Uninvited Guest together with Mekhi Phifer.

Malinda Williams was a guest star in the Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and he was a regular cast member on the Short-lived drama called Windfall. In the year 2006, Williams did appear in the musical film called Idlewild. After time, she was the co-star the romantic comedy drama of Terry Perry called Daddy’s Little Girls. She was in the First Sunday which was opposite to the Ice Cube. Afterwards, she appeared in many independent films. She played as the sister of Chris Rock in the romantic comedy called 2 Days In New York. She was in a leading role in the film of UP network called Mary Me for Christmas with the two sequels of the movie called Marry Us for Christmas with A Baby For Christmas. In the year 2013, she started to host the talk show called Exhale on Aspire network. She was in the Girl’s Gateway for TV One where he played with Essence Atkins, Terri J Vaughan and Garcelle Beauvais. Malinda Williams got divorced from his first husband Mekhi Phifer and they had a son. Afterwards, she got married to D-Nice but also divorced him.
