She is a famous Australian Canadian artist who is best known for her incredible work in TV shows Murdoch Mysteries and Durham County. She has received the Leslie Anderson Award for Best Performer, Leo Award for Best Female Lead Performance and the Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in Leading Dramatic Role.


Early Life and Education

Helene Joy first opened her eyes on October 21, 1978, in Perh Australia. Information about her family and their background is not available.

From the beginning, Helene was very fond of acting and performing. She attended the Kewdale Senior High School in Australia and joined the school’s acting group. She has also toured with a theatre group in Europe. Later, she attended the Curtin University and studied the ins and outs of theater. She went on to join the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts” in Perth where she earned her diploma in acting and even won the prestigious “ Leslie Anderson Award for Best Performer”.

Helene joy has appeared in movies such as The Beneficiary, Desolation Sound, Feed, At the bottom of the hill, 100 Musicians and Sadie’s Last days on Earth.

She played powerful roles in many TV shows including The Man from snowy river, G.P., Water rats, Big sky, Never tell me never, Stingers, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, First wave, The outer limits , Night visions, The Chris Isaak Show, The Twilight zone, An American in Canada, Andromeda, Puppets who kill and The Collector.

Personal Life

Helene was madly in love with an anonymous guy and left Australia just to be with him. She moved to Vancouver, Canada with him. However, the relationship could not last for long. As per reports, She is not dating anyone currently. She is not married yet. Helene likes to keep her personal life away from media. She doesn't smoke and drink unlike the other members of the movie fraternity. As of now, she is only focused on her career and has no time for dating or any other kind of controversies.
