The legendary tennis player was born on 16th May, 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to parents Beatriz Garofalo Sabatini and Osvaldo Sabatini. Her father Osvaldo Sabatini is an executive of General Motors. She has an elder brother as well. She has a tall covetous height of 5 feet 9 inch which makes her a good athlete. She holds an Argentine nationality and belongs to the Roman Catholic religion.

Growing up wasn’t very easy for Gabriela as she was very introvert. She said that she used to lack self-confidence and which made her struggle a bit with her game.
